After a while, the lecture at #wwwh will again be in English. We’re hosting a Swiss company and it’s bound to be interesting:

Astina specialises on the realisation of qualitative superior software solutions like individual applications for industry or trading companies, e-business platforms and ecommerce platforms. From our headquarters in Zurich we are serving customers mostly in western Europe. In order to extend our development team we plan to set up a new office in Ljubljana.

In this talk we would like to tell you a bit about us, how we work and party, as well as the IT scene in Switzerland. But mostly we want to present you our different technological stacks, shown on three realised projects in the area of Information: Retrieval and Data Mining (home.ch) and E-Commerce (www.jeremygleave.com).

We are looking forward to getting to know you and take you on a tour through Switzerland and the Swiss IT scene. Thereby you will get to know our team, the projects we are working on and the technologies we use at Astina.
